Cormorant flying low Reid Start Park, Maine.

A different sort of bluebird. Taken in the same backyard where I photographed the shots below.

Cardinal wants the bug, mom bluebird says no way, there are chicks to be fed!

This site will be my working platform as I investigate the world under our feet. My other site, Androken Aerial, will remain as my aerial photography site. Being a messy fellow, there are plenty of other things to be found there, travel, nature both stills and videos, political rants but my new stuff will be here.
Macro imaging (I intend to work with both stills and videos) has always interested me. There is so much to see especially when we are not looking or need to look more closely. While to winter doldrums give me time to rebuild, think, cleanup, enhance and improve, I’m really looking forward to Spring and the return of birds, bugs, other critters and all the flora that grows in Maine.
On the horizon, I’d also like to delve into astrophotography. I’m not sure if I still have the constitution to do late night observations, but the cosmos does call me, almost in a spiritual way.
So despite the political and economic upheavals, the increasing threat of war, the miserable plight of so many of my fellow humans, I am looking forward to 2026. You always need hope.
